HOMELESS
Hope scarce fear abound,
Terrible, dreadful thoughts around,
Away from home,
Homeless and awake.
When men shoot men,
And life like rubber bend,
Borders and boundaries,
Are tough to mend.
When blood traces blood,
Opens complaints, aflood,
For when men seeketh pride,
Often emotions overide.
Not one rest all,
Overlook the fall,
Of love and compassion,
But tears fail, stall.
And innocence suffers,
Classification errs,
Leaving the poor and pennyless,
Even "homeless".
